The incredibly talented and lovely Cherie Priest, author of the kick-ass BONESHAKER (and several other books) joins us to discuss steampunk, porn origins, Tiger Woods, George RR Martin love, Tolkein hate, Atomic Robo, Armor, dancing in her underwear, and what a nice guy Wil Wheaton is.
Cherie Priest is now officially on the N3RDs Stalking List (TM). Apart from being adorable and posting pics of herself in old-fashioned underwear, she’s also written a book that is one of our collective favorites (it’s on Kindle, too!). Even better, she’s scored some major talent to do the audio reading (Kate is fantastic, too, I just couldn’t find a good page for/about her!).
Cherie’s a great sport – so is Dr. Sexy, because I made sure not to allow him to get a word in edgewise. Especially once I found out Cherie’s going to be working on the latest Wild Card novel! We had to install special filters just to reduce my girlish squeal to an audible level. You’re welcome.
I’m absurdly excited that Cherie is unfamiliar with Atomic Robo. I really look forward to introducing her to it (and of course, once she’s hooked on it, I’ll mention a certain animated short some froods we know are working on…).
I’m amazed that none of her fans have started a Clockwork Century wiki. And if there’s a fan out there that wants to start one but doesn’t have a place/know-how to host it, shoot me an email. I’d be kidding myself if I said I had the time to run such a thing – but I’ll set the site up and install the wiki software (and contribute an article or three). I think it’d be fun!

Further into the book and I love it more, seriously, go and get this book. It’s awesome, but you don’t have to take MY word for it….dooodooodeep!
